ROSE's four teachers (pictured on the left: Namita, Bhagwati, Santosh, and Karunakar) are so dedicated to their work that they happily attended two weekend training sessions in early May. Teachers play a crucial facilitating role in the classroom, and have to be on the ball and up to date with a variety of course material, since students in any one batch are at different points in their different courses. Not only that, but teachers assist in the management of branches by taking potential student enquiries and building relationships with current and past students.
The recent training for teachers was run by the organization's mentor, Sandeep, and was in part attended by the Director, Amit, as well. It included team-building, interpersonal skills development, and training in taking student enquiries. Through a combination of reflection, sharing, discussion, and role-play, teachers got to know each other and learn to better serve students.
